Tesco Extra in Suffolk Coastal

Friendly, helpful staff. Very reasonably priced tasty food.

Had a take away jacket potato and it was supposed to be tuna crunch with cheese ,it had no mayo in it ,very little tuna and absolutely no cheese ,two of these small potatoes had no side salad either but cost £4 each ,really ??? Prices are extortionate for what we paid for ,so disappointed as Tesco cafe ,used to one of our favourite places to go ! Very disappointed today !!

Great value breakfast well cooked. No queue, tables kept clean. Only thing is staff need to ask or put sugars and sauce portions and condiments on tray with drinks or you have to go back to counter all the time.

The all day breakfast is perfectly cooked.Having read other reviews saying the food was cold, it is not the food that is cold it is the plate.Please start serving hot food on hot/warm plates.It is a VERY basic mistake, which is easily rectified.I will come back and edit my review and give you five stars if/when you change the plate temperature.Please do not quote health and safety as an excuse, I do not expect the plate to be firey hot just hot enough to keep the food warm and not burn the fingers of the waitress.

Ordered 2 vegan breakfasts and 2 vegan mochas, it cost £17 for all of it. Got served at our table, the mochas were huge and the breakfast was a good size. Sausages were excellent. It was peaceful and welcoming. A nice incognito vegan breakfast that you can eat without the standard vegan conversation you get in 100% plant based places. It was nice to be normal for a change.

Pleasing atmosphere and great layout, doesn't feel like a supermarket cafe. Food and coffee also far better than expected, staff always friendly and helpful. Easy effective ordering system. Reasonable lighting for reading and laptop. Mostly kept clean. Relaxing spot.

Although café is nice with a cosy atmosphere and tastefull foods, at least one female member of staff that is always on the till is always grumpy and unhelpful. She doesn't seem to enjoy dealing with people and in my experience she shouldn't be.Other staff are very friendly and helpful and I would be delighted to rate with more stars if I was dealing just with them.

The place seems to be always crowded. The foods were tasty, although a bit pricey. When we visited it second time, they didn't have hot chocolate. I guess it was too far from Tesco to resupply the stocks. We will definitely visit it again.

Plates. Cutlery. Cups were all dirty. Had to leave breakfasts as cold. The only thing warm was the egg cause it had been freshly cooked. Staff had no interest whatsoever. Tried to chat when paying. Dead pan. Nothing. Sadly wont be using cafe again. After using it alot in the past.

For a superstore cafe, this one has nice decor and sofas in the 'lounge' area. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter then both are bought to the table. However, cutlery, sauces and napkins are self-service. My order was taken efficiently, with a smile, and the coffee served within minutes. The breakfast was served in just a little longer than it took to cook. All of the staff were pleasant and seen to be busy cleaning when not serving customers. The only fault was the floor needed sweeping to remove the discarded receipts and the like which were seen but ignored.
