Great family rub pub, re ently renovated to a very high standard, cosy, friendly ambience with a hint of a Rockabilly theme. Kevin the landlord and his wife will look after you.

Highly recommended. A good welcome and felt immediately at home. A pub that could have been lost for ever, thankfully saved.

Wonderful staff, cosy decor with a lovely outside space, ate my perfect steak outside watching the starlings with a rhubarb cider!

Stopped here for lunch after a lovely windy walk on Shingle Street beach.A superb pub with a nice garden and a friendly warm welcome. As for the food all I can say is excellent.Would highly recommend a visit here, dog friendly good range of beers and an all round great country establishment.

This place is a real hidden gem in the countryside. The pub is beautiful and has a garden. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food is delicious and great prices. I would definitely recommend visiting. I will be going back again!

Very warm and cosy pub. Food was freshly prepared and excellent (sardines and salmon). Would also recommend the Chicken Curry. Staff were polite and helpful. Also lovely outdoor seating area.

30 lancia motor club members taking part in FFFear raid around Suffolk in their 15 classic Lancias, had lunch at the Alderton Swan.I can't praise it highly enough, excellent food, lovely atmosphere with friendly efficient staff made our visit memorable, so a big thank you.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday evening and where pleased to find that even though we had not booked on a hot sunny Saturday there was still a few tables available. The food was of good quality however the menu was a little small. The service was great and they had a couple of no alcoholic beers. The only issue we had was my wife did not enjoy the ice cream as it seemed to be crunchy and hard.

Thank you all very much for a lovely lunch. We all enjoyed it very much. Even my mum managed to find something that she really enjoyed (vegetarian) and she can be difficult 😊The ‘little something extra’ for the Mums was especially a nice touch.I consider ourselves very lucky to have such a ‘Good local’.Keep up the good work

Absolutely fantastic. Not a broad menu especially for non meat eaters. But the service, especially the charming and traditional young man serving and the interaction with the lady Co owner made our two visits really very special. Highly recommended
