We had a busy week and was even working Sunday morning so treated ourselves to dinner at The Angel. Staff welcoming & friendly that provided table service. The food itself was presented nicely and nothing was left on the plates at the end of the meal. Overall a very nice experience which we would 'recommend to family and friends.

Had breakfast here this morning. Two poached eggs on toast with smoked salmon...was delicious, the eggs cooked perfectly. The full breakfast was yummy too 😃 Two girls serving us were lovely and polite.

My girlfriend my son and sister in law went to grab a drink there after being around town and having a heartbeat monitor placed on her after being advised by several doctors after 10 mins or so was asked to leave as my 15 month old son was making too much noise when he wasnt! Wasnt even allowed to finish her pint of coke and worst bit about it i WORK there, claims to be a family friendly pub and clearly isnt very friendly all because she needed to rest her heart for a few mins and got told our son was being too loud when he wasnt

Another wonderful four night stay for me at this family run hotel and restaurant. Rooms are always very clean and comfortable, the food is excellent and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own car park and is conveniently located just in the main street of this very old interesting town with many individual shops.Tremendous value for money with a very warm welcome. Thanks again to all the team and see you soon.

Had the prawn and scallop linguine, wow, sweet juicy scallops meaty prawns and the white wine sauce was spot on! Followed by the vanilla, honey, panna cotta with homemade granola, swear I'm now a step closer to heaven, it was divine, unexpected value for money indulgence on a Sunday evening 😋

Lovely warm welcome- I'd had a long stressful day at work and was made to feel very welcome and at home. Dinner was prompt and delicious even though the restaurant and bar were unexpectedly busy for a Tues evening. Breakfast was a highlight- chef made me the most delicious, fluffy cheese omelette. Such a lovely experience- I will definitely return.

We stayed for 1 night in Angel Hotel in Halesworth on 27 Dec 2021. It was a very nice & cozy hotel with amazing friendly staffs. They were so accommodative to our requests & requirements. We booked 2 rooms as we have 2 grown teenagers with us. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. We had dinner at the Italian Restaursnt that evening with a couple of friends who are local. The food was amazing as usual. We've eaten at this restaurant a number of times but never stayed in the hotel but its fair to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was also good. We paid just under £200 for both rooms with breakfast for 4 of us.So yes. We will be back when the need arises.

500 year old Inn. Decor a little faded but more than compensated for by excellent bar food, an Italian Restaurant and helpful friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Halesworth.

A nice pub/restaurant, but rather on the expensive side for what you get. On several occasions also, there have been several rowdy, trouble making patrons who have spoiled the overall experience. But all in all, generally a nice, friendly, relaxing place to eat/drink.

This place has not changed, it retains its charm. The staff are great. The restaurant is very good with excellent food. In particular would like to mention our waitress Katie what a natural she is-friendly, smiling and aware of what is going on around her! Well done Katie we were very impressed!!
