We popped in today with our pup for a nice pub lunch after lots of walking around the area. It is the cutest little spot with lots of character and we had the fish finger sandwich which was lush! What made our visit special however is the lovely lad that visits all the dogs on his round to offer them a treat! He politely asked first if our cocker would like a treat and he even threw in some training getting him to sit and gently take it from him. He really made our day!

Charming pub with loads of cosy 'nooks and crannies' in which to sit and enjoy a pint. The floor in the main bar area is incredible, worn down by the treading of thousands of feet over the years. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff.

Nice pub, good range of beers etc. Varied menu, well prepared and cooked food. Large garden to eat in as well as a lot of room inside.

We popped in for a quick lunchtime snack. One of our party is gluten intolerant and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. We will definitely go again next time we're in the area.

Lovely evening meal here on Thursday evening. Excellent fish pie and ham and pineapple salsa. A a couple of pints of Ghost Ship!

Called in on a Saturday evening at the start of April (2022) - called in around 5 PM with my two small people; told that the kitchen did not open 'till 6 PM. Tried a couple of other options; returned here; lucky to get a table - the last one, by the toilets - but had a very nice meal, before returning to home.

Lovely oldie world pub.with nooks and crannies seating areas. Great food spotlessly clean, friendly staff. What more could you ask for.

Nice pub in a great spot that welcomes dogs. But sadly can't recommend for vegans/vegetarians. Stopped for lunch and only veggie option on lunch menu was a cheese sandwich. Even the soup had bacon in it. Got a bowl of chips from the sides. Left hungry. Great shame, but in 2022 must do better

Traditional pub/hotel with a lot of history is nice village near to coast, national nature reserve. Quite historic setting, good set of photographs showing the Bell and the old sailors who frequented it. Nice open fire and friendly staff. Good way to hydrate after a walk on the beach

Country pub in the heart of Walberswick. Limited parking so might be best to leave your vehicle in a nearby public car parkWhen we visited orders for evening meals weren't being taken until 6pm. It is worth getting there early as the place doesn't take reservations. Even on a chilly November night the pub was quite busy. Tables are first come first served, apart from guests staying at the property. We both had excellent cod, chips and peas with one of the best pints of Adnams Ghost Ship I've ever had!🍺👍
