The Dog and Duck in Suffolk Coastal

Fantastic pub with Fantastic food. The menu was very imaginative with some great fusion creations. Generous portions and divine desserts. Excellent selection of real ales. The interior of the building has been left largely intact so that it is not one huge dining hall. Separate areas/rooms allowed us to enjoy the company of friends and family without being drowned out by other diners. The pub was very busy, the staff were all very good. There is also a large, attractive beer garden. Dog Friendly. Can't wait to go again.

We had Sunday lunch here recently. Best around! Really good food, whether it’s a roast you choose or something else on the menu. I had the chicken supreme and my husband roast beef. Good service, efficient and pleasant staff. Can’t fault it.

Lovely evening out with friends, super relaxed atmosphere, all starters and mains were delicious and well received-i had the Sea Bass which was perfectly cooked and served on a bed of jerusalem artichoke. Shared a desert of apple and blackberry crumble. So impressed we have booked to go back in a couple of weeks for curry night-looking forward to it already😉.

Great pub with craft local ales. Landlord very helpful and knowledgable. Menu good with great smell coming from kitchen. Bar lovely and come again soon.

Not too formal but also not standard pub fare. The shrimp burger was superb.

What a great venue. The building and interior is fantastically designed. The staff were great, no sandwiches on the menu, but hey, choose a main and we'll make a sandwich from it.Gentlemen toilets made from totally recycled ironJust go there

Great pub - Awesome food and good prices. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere inside and out.A member of staff was very evidently smoking and smell of smoke came through restaurant, hence 4 stars not 5.

A very lovely relaxed atmosphere in the garden with gazebo, heater and throws if it was a cold day. The inside decor looked beautiful but hot day so they accommdated us outside next to the great BBQ/outdoor kitchen. Food was delicious, service was fast. A small menu, but a yummy selection using quality produce. Will definitely be going back.

We came across The Duck during a visit to the Suffolk coast, and it was a great surprise! Lovely outdoor space accommodated to respect Covid-19 guidelines. We thoroughly enjoyed our two visits (yes, two!). The staff were lovely, and helpfully suggested local beers, and the food was great. We highly recommend it.
