Turned up on Sunday evening around 18:30.A few customers in. Ordered two lasagne’s & two soft drinks (£25, not too bad🤷🏼)Took drinks to table & the food arrived very shortly afterwards. No complaints with quality of food, top notch 👍. Friendly bar staff that served me.Will definitely come back in the future.

Love this place. Plenty of different seating areas, nice and chilled at lunch time (I recommend the fish and chips) and lively at night, especially when they have a live band on.

Great sausage sandwich for less than 6 quid.

Food cold, barman and manager rude, although Alicia was very polite. We did get 15% off our bill but our food was reheated on a microwave and it just spoilt the whole evening. We won’t be going back

Took my grandchildren for a meal at lunch time after bowling at Tenpin and was very impressed with the service. The young man at the bar was very accommodating when sorting out our choices as he was for the young family in front of me. The food arrived in very good time and was very hot. My only complaint was that the plates were so hot that my grandson burnt his hand on his when taking it off the staff member and had a blister on his finger. The meals were delicious and everyone enjoyed their food. My grandson had the beef and stout pie, I had the half chicken, my friend had a medium rare steak and my granddaughter had prawn cocktail as a mains with garlic ciabatta. We all agreed we would recommend the Douglas Bader as a good place to dine.
