Out to walk our dogs on the seafront and had lunch at the fludyers. One of the nicest meal's out we've had in a long while. Excellent food.

A year ago the food and service was poor and had to return meal to be reheated, price was very high for the quality. HOWEVER returned last week during a weekend away....menu now different and a fresh chef, the food was awesome and staff were extremely attentive, cant wait to return, well done Fludyers, immense improvement.

Lovely, spacious room with perfect view of the sea. Great breakfast, full English was delicious and well-presented. Also are in the restaurant which was also very good. The bar are is great with a great patio out front. Excellent selection of real ales and gins. The hotel was recently renovated and is an excellent place to stay. Bar and waiting staff were friendly and helpful. A few changes would be welcomed: 10.30 check out is too early especially on weekends, bedrooms could do with a mini-fridge and a care package with shower cap, cotton buds etc would be appreciated.

Everything about this hotel was excellent; location, facilities, hospitality, attitude, service etc. The staff in particular are worthy of special mention. Not only were there enough of them to deliver the right levels of service, but they were clearly well trained and had the right attitude.

The Sunday roast you will not forget and all for the right reasons. A carnivores delight and vegetarian too. All fresh cooked with fresh vegetables, no frozen Cauli, Brocli or carrots served here plus so much more. And the staff are just so good, polite, helpful and if your eating outside they will even bring your drinks to you. Looking forward to my next Sunday lunch. Did I mention they also rotate veggie options and there all good. Price for this level of service and food quality is good.

Amazing place good beer friendly service amazing food .has a large indoor seating and a nice out door space with sea view was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. The photos don't do it justice the portions were huge .beautiful fillet steak with the biggest prawn I've seen .would highly recommend.

Marvellous rooms some with fantastic views of the sea. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food but menu could do with a refresh.

Had the most enormous plate of fish chips and peas. Sat outside in warm autumn sunshine staring out at the sea. Dog friendly outside. Food delicious and they sell Ghost ship zero on pump. Great if you are driving and want a beer! Staff exceptionally good. Friendly and very efficient, especially considering how busy it was and how few of them there were. Will definitely recommend and return soon.

We ate a hearty fish and chip meal here. Fresh as can be and served with minted peas. Outside you can view the sea when you eat and bring your 🐕 along too. Toilets around the back are modern and well serviced. A regular stop for us when in Felixstowe.

We needed an evening meal for business and this was our first choice. Great service and a curry with a kick, so compliments sent to the kitchen for sure. Great burger and chips, with the perfectly poured pint of Guinness. Mentioned on the Verso's Proc Cast this week also.
