The Greyhound Inn in Suffolk Coastal

Every time I come here the food is amazing, staff friendly. Cosy inside in winter, nice garden in summer. Don’t forget to try the delicious soda bread. Sunday lunch today very good portion size, one of the best beef roasts I have had in ages.

We had a fantastic evening meal on a recent Friday. We walked down from the nearby village of Wickham Market and were certainly not disappointed. Both staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was a real treat, with the sharing board of starters very enjoyable. Our mains were also really good, with ample veggie options along with some hearty meat dishes.Beer really well kept, along with some reasonably priced wines. Decor etc was all really on point too.

The food is really good and the staff are friendly, maybe the pudding wasn't as super as it should of been , think I just made a bad choice , there normally really good .

Oh what a find is the Greyhound Inn. The food is absolutely superb. I tucked into the crispy goats cheese and beetroot for starter and the vegetarian main was delicious. My glass of chardonnay was perfectly chilled and served by friendly and efficient staff. I was visiting the area for a few days and after a very disappointing meal at my hotel I decided to go in search of something that hopefully showed off the Suffolk food scene. It was encouraging to see the place so busy on a Tuesday evening and enjoying a beautiful dinner in this lovely 14th century inn left me with a smile on my face. Dog friendly too! Highly recommended.

Randomly found this pub as we were staying for the weekend in a village close by. What a find! Amazing food at a good price. Highest quality ingredients and attention to detail made the food way above average pub fare. The terrine, veggie phyllo pie and wrapped chicken were delicious and complex. Service was great. Pub is cosy and food focused, great warm winter atmosphere. Probably one of best pubs I have eaten at in the UK!

Nice food and decent beer. Would have liked a bigger meal for the money. The Whisky and Marmalade Pudding was excellent but needed more than a spoonful of the drambuie custard to complement it.

Wanted to visit for years and it did not disappoint! Cracking country pub, excellent staff and amazing food. The chicken wrapped in bacon was the best chicken I have had in a long time, so good im going back for it again next week!

Great pub - had the venison burger and was fantastic. Friends had the roast beef and all seemed happy! Super cosy inside and service was great.
