Early evening walk to the beach decided to pop in for a bite to eat and a drink whilst taking in the coastal views. Lucky for us we got a table with a sea view just beautiful. Large windows frame the beach and coast alike. Food was very tasty and presented well. Great local pub offering great coastal views and serving local beers and home cooked food 😃

Had belly pork, melt in the mouth ( absolutely gorgeous) too big portion for me to eat. The staff are friendly and attentive. If you're this way give them a try.

Even on a very busy Saturday afternoon service was prompt efficient and the food was great. Perfect after a bracing walk from Lowestoft.

Good pub grub.My husband really enjoyed his burger and my smoked haddock was delicious - I could’ve eaten it twice. The portions of cabbage and bubble should have been bigger. Thank you for not adding the poached egg.Our pudding was lovely, it’s shame you ran out of chocolate ice cream and cherries. The service was excellent - charming and polite, I was very happy to have somewhere to eat on New Years Day - not places are open in Norwich. We’ll be back very soon.

Always love it here. Today my friends and I ate in the bar as only wanted a light lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches. I had the sausage and onion marmalade one which comes with chips and salad and was huge and very tasty. Luckily my friend's son ate what I couldn't manage! Very nice lunch !

Large portions, fish cake, plaice and chicken were all tasty, can't even pick a favourite. Exceeded expectations of pub food, more like fine dining. Quick service too. Reasonable prices. One of best spots in Lowestoft.

The atmosphere is great, with good beer and nice view of the sea, friendly staff. I wasn’t impressed with the fish and chips. The chips were a bit dry and the peas seemed overcooked. Partner says the scampi wasn’t great either. But I would come back to drink in a heartbeat!
