Nice. Rather simple menu. But nice. Free 3 hours parking, enter your Reg when you enter the pub.

Very poor experience. Turned up when the pub was closed but there were no signs indicating this at the top car park so we had to pay a parking fee for nothing in return due to the (hugely over the top) ANPR system. Sent an email about this which was ignored.Get the strong impression this place is fairly indifferent to issues such as mine; they know they’ll be making money regardless due to the location and can safely ignore complaints.Have eaten here before and the food is reasonable but it’s definitely a ‘pub themed restaurant’ rather than a proper pub due to the limited opening hours.

Nice service and a really nice venue. Well lit with nice tables and a lovely view. The meals were nice but a little pricey

Wonderful fish and chips here after a walk with the family along the slightly muddy river bank! The Ham and Chips was amazing as well!

Used to enjoy parking here, going for a long walk along the Deben before popping into the pub for a couple of drinks. The car parks now have numberplate recognition cameras, card machine and warning signs everywhere. The machine was broken and online payment didn't recognise the car park reference number. £4 for four hours parking paid in change. A lovely part of Suffolk tainted by greed.

Lovely hostelry with an amazing view, only had time for a drink today but will definitely return to sample the food. What I saw being served looked absolutely delicious

Great place to go with the motorbike, roads are very good and landscape is amazing. Lovely food and people, all clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Riverside pub. 3 hours free parking if you use the pub. Food is excellent. Well cooked and served fast with good flavours. Large portions today. Great views over the river. Also if you are a fan of movies it's where they filmed Yesterday

Lovely food, good service, and a cracking view over the river from the front garden. If you're driving, head for the private car park closer to the pub - it's a pay-and-display but you don't buy a ticket; the pub registers your licence plate and you get 3hrs free to enjoy your food and drink. On the whole, top notch!

Lovely lovely views and scenery. The best seafood platter I've ever had. Arrived as part of a large group and and they were very accomodating. Highly recommend.
