The Parish Lantern Tea Room in Suffolk Coastal

Visted on a bright day in November and tea room was full. Sat outside and coffees were bought to us very nice it was too. Didnt eat but it looked like a nice menu and what I saw other people eating, it looked good as did the homemade cakes. Will visit again.

Outstanding. Amazing cakes and pastries. Lovely coffee. Great system for ordering to minimise covid risk and lovely garden with picnic tables and umbrellas.

Lovely to find a number of vegan options here! They do vegan pizzas, non-dairy milks for hot drinks, as well as a savoury pastry and a couple of cakes. There are also a few flavours of sorbet or a coconut ice cream. The mixed veg pizza and vegan flapjack are delicious!

Tea, sweets, toys, souvenirs, crabbing stuff. A lovely, well presented, characterful shop situated 5 minutes walk from both car parks, beach and crabbing pools.

Lovely friendly place. Made to feel very welcome. We had scone, jam and cream and a slice of chocolate fudge cake and a pot of tea for two. Nice to be served leaf tea and a pot of hot water to top up. Definitely worth a visit.

My family found this magical place a long time ago( when Mary's existed) & as kids we did crabbing, watched birds & wildlife & horses. Great walks, dunes & waters. I'vecontinued visiting this, my favourite place for a long relaxing time with it's warm, friendly team & greetings, its a gorgeous place with homemade lunches, teas, cakes & icecreams to gorge😃Wonderful plethora of clothing, footware, crockery, toys, jewellery, special gifts for special people. Well worth a visit plus book b&b at the pubs & houses available.

My friend and I had a delightful cup of hot tea in a teapot. They gave me the teabag separately so I could put it in myself, as I like week tea.Also, they have wholemeal T cakes that are delicious.They allow dogs in their pretty, secluded garden, with water bowls available.We, and my other friends will be visiting again very SOON.

I’ve been dropping by this cafe for many years but what has always been a fabulous place for a cream tea seems to have now passed. Unfortunately the cream tea size has been reduced to a single scone thats served so hot that the reduced potion of jam and cream instantly melts making for a rather unappetising lunch. It seems like the scones are now defrosted, giving them a hot and chewy texture. I even ordered a second scone which also came out hot.The tea room has always been on the pricey side but the food has been good so haven’t minded paying that little extra, however I believe it’s time to find another tearoom for a cream tea.

Intimate cafe, with home cooked offers. At the side of the well stocked gift shop. Lovely tea garden if you visit in the summer. Green and play equipment for the children. Stones throw from the beach.Reasonable prices and friendly staff.Parking near by.

Fantastic coffee and cakes to die for. Friendly service what a little gem.
