Never get fish and chips from anywhere else, great food and massive piece of fish for the price you pay. The children's cod and chips for £4.50 with a drink was the same size as a medium fish you'd get from a town centre chip shop. All good in beef dripping as well!

We had to wait about 40 minutes, but definitely worth the wait! The best fish and chips in Felixstowe by far! Definitely will be returning soon!! 👌

Delicious Rock and Chips. The service was excellent, food cooked to order and it tasted as good as it looked. Mine was a small portion with salad and reasonably priced. Hygiene standard was very good. Staff very polite and helpful.

First time we have tried this fish bar. Wow creamy flakes of cod cooked in the lightest crispy batter. Chips cooked to perfection and a large portion as well. My partners meal was delicious to. We will be back. Our new favourite five stars

Used the take away side of the restaurant. Friendly service. Fresh, tasty cod and chips.Brilliant batter. We all loved our take away!

·

Jolly good chips. Can recommend if you want a good old-fashioned bag of chips by the sea. Here's a photo of the moonlit sea to get you in the mood.

·

Excellent service, food came out fresh and hot. Portions were massive aswell!

Very fresh and well-cooked cod and chips. Serving staff were apologetic about the wait but to me that meant the Regal was popular and the food was freshly prepared. I felt welcome and would recommend to anyone who likes their fish and chips.

Excellent fish and chips, however the restaurant dining area feels sparse and dated and would benefit from modernisation.

Visiting Felixstowe for a few days decided we would try the local fish and chips. We wanted to eat in a restaurant rather than takeaway so thought we would try The Regal. Options on fish included haddock and rock eel. We had three options on the size of fish. I opted for the large rock eel and my partner had a small haddock. Each came with chips and an option of sides. I have to say the food was lovely the fish in our opinion was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend. The service was also very good and clearly this was a popular restaurant judging by how busy it was. Would also suggest booking a table in advance given the popularity. Think if we visited again I would opt for a smaller size of fish though as the large was a bit of a struggle.
