The Sorrel Horse in Suffolk Coastal

Whent on a Thursday evening which was very quiet in the restaurant as it was "pizza night". Traditionally it would seem that half the community dine on pizza as a take away meal. Very very popular.Excellent food served in this cozy restaurant with a lovely fire burning.Skate wing, although small, was excelent and my simple moules were very good for this time in the season.Well worth me returning.

Really good but the pub can get a bit cold so pack an extra layer just incase! Fab seafood sharing platter - the crevettes were delicious!

Friendly pub which by pure co-incidence we isited on it's Pizza night which apparently is every Thursday. It was a music night too but we weren't stopping, although we would love to go back another time when in our MoHo nearby again. The pizza was delicious, freshly cooked.

Just got home from having a wonderful lunch here; a pub that as heaving with customers and absent staff, but coped beautifully. The food was lovely, the staff delightful and every table had a vase of LIVE flowers, none of this half dead stuff you see in some places. We’ll go again.

Went here the other night after hearing good things. Food was delicious, great portion size. Lovely atmosphere too, will definitely be back.

The mussels were full of grit and hard bits, and when the waitress came to ask how everything was and I informed her, she gave a condescending "yeeeah" and a look to say "that's how mussels are" - which if prepared properly, are not. She clearly wasn't going to say sorry or offer to change the food. Poor customer service. Why ask how your food is then you're not interested in the answer? I left with painful teeth and had to take painkillers. Truly a horrible experience.

We did a long walk. About 8 miles I think. Along the way, we came upon this beautiful pub. Such a welcome break! What a friendly guy to serve us perfectly kept pints! What a lovely garden to enjoy said pints! I do really hope to visit again one day, and maybe stop for lunch.

Lovely friendly community-run pub. Food was excellent. We really enjoyed the half-lobsters and nice wine list too.

Delicious local food in a gorgeous thatched building. Can especially recommend the burger - super juicy and full of incredible flavour. Service was a bit slow and we had to ask for a few things eg. menu, ketchup, the bill twice....but it was friendly nonetheless.

Fantastic local pub. Lots of outdoor seating, pretty thatched pub and great food and beer. They also do wood fired pizzas. Staff are friendly and efficient.
