The Stables Coffee Shop & Sandwich Bar in Suffolk Coastal

Visited last tuesday for lunch - amazed at how much the prices had been hiked!!! £4 for a small coffee (only one size available). Quiche, salad & new pots £10 - small portion on a small plate. Observed lack of hygiene, staff serving salad from cooler with fingers & not tongs having handled money etc. One even wiped his hands on his jeans after handling the salad. Didn't see any handwashing! No masks worn as stated in hygiene regime. Used to be a popular spot for us but no more, won't be rushing back. Such a shame!!

Lovely little gem of a coffee shop. We passed and decided to stop for a cuppa, wonderful friendly staff. A good selection of Freshly made cakes, we all tried something different, all wonderfully delicious. If passing that way again I would definitely stop and recommend.

Very nice food and atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful, lovely setting, well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Had lovely afternoon tea here for mothers day.Had to get doggie bag to bring rest home !Thank you ladies and gents you all kept busy and kept your cool .Still think you should charge deposit ...that would help towards people who didn't turn upLovely afternoon

Glad I came here It's a nice spot, a good cup of coffee and the coffee and walnut cake is amazing! The staff were very polite and helpful and chatty. I'll have to return soon.

Perfect place to grab a coffee or a bite to eat after a long walk, very friendly and polite staff and spotlessly clean.

Lovely food and surroundings. Very friendly staff. They would get five stars if they can sort out better disabled toilet facilities.

Absolutely love this place. Perfect place to enjoy a slice of cake and a coffee. Such a great selection of food and drink to enjoy. paintings, gifts, bird boxes and feeders, jewellery and other trinkets can be found here too. Manager/owner is just lovely and the staff are great. Lovely view over a duck pond. Covid Safe and nice and clean.Definitely worth a visit when it's safe to do so.
