The Station Hotel in Suffolk Coastal

Having not been here for about 10 years, we stopped for a couple of pints whilst awaiting our taxi. Last time I was here, we had dinner and it was OK. I wish I'd've stayed for dinner this time. The beer was excellent and the menu was extensive and everything that came out the kitchen looked superb. And they had oysters. Will be getting back here for beer and food next time!

This is a good local pub with a daily changing choice of food, well cooked and presented and generous servings. Mid range prices, top quality. The staff are attentive and pleasant, clearly a wide ranging local clientele. It's also a proper pub. It's neither 'fine dining' nor up itself. Book for a table.

We ate here twice during a recent holiday and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. There’s a small ish menu in the bar that changes but always includes light or heavier ; hot & cold dishes. We had pork belly one day and pasta/charcuterie board on a hotter day. Food was delicious, and the local beers on offer were worth the trip alone.Although the venue doesn’t look particularly inviting on the outside, we found a warm, friendly welcome, great service and a fab experience both times. There’s a nice courtyard garden if you prefer which you can’t easily see from the main road. Ace place, we’re going back.

British pub at its best. Great real ale. Real pub.

We came here for a pint on a Tuesday night and loved it so much we drove 45 minutes back for lunch the next day. Cozy, warm and welcoming. The food was GREAT. You’ll find the locals hanging out here and the bartenders are friendly and down to earth. My favorite spot on my tour around England!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This remarkably plain looking pub is a centre of excellence for pub food and pub atmosphere, with a warm welcome and an amazingly varied menu of well cooked and well presented food (and excellent beer). The environment is traditional pub, but the food is well-better than that.Additionally on Thursdays and the weekend, there’s an extra pizza restaurant open out the back.I can’t recommend this place enough. Please don’t miss it if you’re in the Framlingham area.

This was a really unexpected delight. The food was lovely, great quality lamb and duck, but what added to the night was the superb hosting and querky character of this gorgeous little pub.

Great food. Nicely spaced out eating area. Felt very safe.

Only stopped in for a beer, the beer was good brewed locally. The food looked very good although I didn't have any. Also plenty of people in on a Tuesday night which is always a good sign. Small but functional beer garden and parking.
