The Unruly Pig in Suffolk Coastal

Came here for Sunday lunchCocktails are bloody fantastic! 10/10Arancini are probably the best I’ve ever had here or Italy.The roast was perhaps a tad underwhelming and the food was maybe a little under seasoned but overall a very very good standard. Would have preferred more beef than two thin slices of pink meat (see image) which we found a little strange.

We came for the set menu on a Thursday lunch and the food was really spectacular. Great value as well I thought, £25 for 3 fantastic course, £27.50 if you want all 4. The pork cheek pasta was particularly good, this place knows it’s pig!

An amazing experience from start to finish. Really enjoyable and memorable meal. Wonderful food and great service. Lovely little touches which made a special occasion even more special. Highly recommended.

An amazing meal in a great setting. Very laid back & easygoing. The fact you can have a meal of this standard with your dog under the table eating the treats they supplied makes this a winner for me!

Food was very delicious and well seasoned. My partner and I are both pescatarian and although there were definitely more meat options on the menu, we thought there was enough for us to choose from. Service was friendly and attentive. Drinks - delicious. There was a driver’s drink section on the menu which I thought was a nice touch. Dog friendly. Free parking available. Although I thought it was overpriced, I would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely meal and evening. The food was well seasoned and very well cooked. The service was attentive and friendly. Dog friendly. The focaccia was the only disappointing dish. The main issue (that other reviewers have mentioned) is the price. Almost everything is overpriced (and I live in London).

Great welcome, attentive but not intrusive service, beautifully presented & delicious food..good wine selection, a decent 0%abv drinks list for the drivers.. Cosy & quirky setting.. Will be back

Very welcoming and friendly team. Great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Limited vegetarian/vegan menu but the food was delicious - one of the best meals I've ever had. Would love to see these options expanded in the future. The atmosphere was also good and the setting felt cosy and private.

Had the beautiful steak tagliata - the food was exceptional. Staff were attentive and polite. The physical set up inside and mood lighting makes for an intimate dining experience - perfect for a date/romantic meal - maybe slightly awkward for a friendly dinner. I'll definitely be returning (with the right company).

Brillant gastropub. If you come here to eat inside, you have a separate table and area just for you. As a further benefit, you can't see other guests which gives you some privacy. The classic and cosy interior contains some nice artwork.The food is clearly above an average pub level.Very tasteful, rich in flavours and perfectly cooked and prepared. Portions are comparable small which fits to the exclusive style. Prices are still okay for the quality you get.
