This is well worth a visit. The staff were friendly and accomodating and the food was delicious and value for money.

Fantastic fish and chips, very popular with locals and visitors alike

Trying to plough through large haddock and chips. It hasn't just been over cooked it has been annihilated. My wife's fish is brown inside and is no longer a fillet more a mass of whitey-brown bits.I will not come back. We should have realised when our order came extremely quickly. Faster than a microwave meal. We are totally dissatisfied with this place. The food is pre-cooked in readiness for a busy service and has sat...then flashed again through the Fryer.I am hard pressed Not to take my wife's 2and offering away to show to an EHO, part of her fish looks jellyish in texture.Clearly, the chef here does not know what he/she is doing and the EHO needs to come and check that good practice is being observed. As my wife stated, this is first and foremost a fish and chip restaurant and they cannot get this, their most basic function correct

We decided to east in rather than queue outside for takeaway, and I’m so glad we did! The Upper Deck Diner was spotlessly clean, the food was delicious as expected, and the service was fantastic!

Great fish and chips! And a lot more comfy than eating them sitting on the pebble beach in a howling gale

Gorgeous fish and chips, nicely furnished benches upstairs. Slightly more expensive than our local Chippy and just got the large cod and chips but they were well worth it. With Stoke's sauces and condiments at the table. Be prepared to queue though, although we went on a Tuesday in November, it was half term and we were lucky to get there as it opened.

Lovely fish and chips. Good sauces too. Restaurant is above the fish and chip so food comes out quick. Table service with friendly staff.

The restaurant is in the first floor.their fish fry or fish fillet are fresh from sea.. Can taste the sweetness of the fish. The flour or batter are not that thick but enough to cover the filet and gives some crispy and crunchiness on the outside. Cook to perfection and batter has it flavour too. The ketchup and tartar sauce are first class. Very nice...The chips are fried to perfection. No oil absorb into the fries or chips.Mushy peas.. a long while a go..the mushy peas were then a lot darker ...ie not overly cook.It tasted very nice then to compliment the fish and chips.Anyway mushy peas are still nice.....The food is similar to the sister's chip shop..Except it has air conditioning. Clean toilet.. and comfortable table for eating.Crispy salad..-niceAlso list of dessert. The sister's chip shop should have address of the upper deck diner next to the name. For some they wouldn't know that one could sit with family and enjoy the food upstairs. And ended up queuing.Overall will come again when in the vicinity like today...Been here few years ago...too...Please keep the price down and reasonable.. your client will remember and keep on coming...
