Very friendly welcome great affordable food and dog friendly what else could you want.

We came here on the Woodfordes ale trail. The landlord was really welcoming and chatty. The pub is amazing! Very traditional and spotlessly clean! I would definitely recommend!

Have considered stopping here a couple of times, decided today was the day, lovely traditional pub, friendly, great menu & food was delicious, really nice after a good walk along Sizewell beach!!

Another well presented, traditional meal at the Vulcan. It's quaint, dark oak interior oozes character. The pub is really clean and tidy, with traditional ales.

Having walked up the coast from Aldeburgh to Sizewell, this was a welcoming sight. Strangely situated opposite the nuclear power station! Popular with campers as pub runs an area nearby for them to pitch up. Excellent food

We come back every year, it's so easy going we are right next to the sea, the owners of the site own the pub next the site. Trevor and Margaret are a lovely couple, the food is excellent also of course the beer. There's a cafe on the beach also public toilets. There's a lovely little town called Leiston nearby with a Co op supermarket and lots of other shops, all in all if your looking for lovely relaxing holiday this is the place. Thanks Trevor and Margaret, we've had, as always a lovely time.😘💕

We had a great 3 course meal last Thursday served and cooked by a lovely landlady. Couldn't fault the meal or cost. The pub is freshly decorated with a new carpet and we can't wait to return. 🙂
