The Wentworth Hotel and Restaurant in Suffolk Coastal

Place is very nice and good service. But when you pay over £9 for salmon sandwich you would expect to get butter not margarine. Also £5 for a handful of chips.

Good English hotel.We have spent 12 New Year's Eve stays plus other stays.Only draw back is no lift, but there are ground floor bedrooms.

My mum and I had lunch here. Excellant attention to detail and polite professional staff.The crab thermador was delicious.Well done team

Could not of picked a better place to celebrate my Mums 80th Birthday on Sunday. The lounge area was reserved for drinks when we got there and for teas/coffees after the meal, the Bar staff who took our order were excellent. We had reserved the Tiffany room for our celebration which had specially printed menus and flowers on the table. The food was delicious and all 16 meals were served at the same time by staff who did so with a smile from start to finish. My Mum and all family & friends had a lovely day and would certainly recommend the Wentworth. Thanks again.

Had my Mum's 90th Birthday dinner here, couldn't have wished for a better meal or service, everything cooked perfectly, piping hot and amazing service from all the staff, but particularly David, who went above and beyond to make the day special not only for Mum, but all of us, well done.

Only visited for afternoon tea in lovely gardens. Great tea, great friendly service. Thumbs up from me 👍.

What better way than to spend a few days.Very attentive staff. A great menu. Comfortable hotel rooms and lounges. Lovely surroundings in a very welcome part of the counyry

Lovely hotel.2 of the party of 6 mentioned to the waiter that the steaks were not satisfactory.Comment was I will let the chef know.£28 for a steak and the chef serves up a rare steak as medium well.Got the impression no one cared.Have put to 2 stars as it clearly proves they don’t case as they could not even bother to respond
