It's a really nice pub. Varied menu. Although portion control is consistent, as our starter were two decent sizes, the bahji starter was quite small, as was the pork belly. The food, however was tasty. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The surrounding gardens are really nice. Worth a visit

We had a lovely evening meal here on a recent Saturday. Lots of excellent veggie/ pescatarian options, and meat dishes were great too. Beers well kept, and gin good too. Staff made us feel really welcome and did everything to ensure we had a nice evening.

Had the most delicious Sunday roast here. What a beautiful, quintessentially English country pub. We are a house of foodies. This is now firmly in our list of favourites.

Brilliant country pub with well kept local ales, exceptional food and welcoming staff. Very dog friendly and we're looking forward to using the new garden in the summer

Nice pub run by local restauranteur. Comfortable interior, smartly decorated without being over done. Dog walkers drinking beer and those dressed for Sunday-lunch-out all fit in.Food ordered: nibbles- battered gherkin with American mustard; sweet (mango?) ‘Kind of’ chutney and a gently spiced veg dip with popadoms and flat bread. Mains- roast pork with all the trimmings and roast chicken with all the trimmings.Nibbles interesting and flavoursome. Gherkin dish was inventive. Mains were very generous on the veg, which was well presented and nicely cooked. Pork serving was decent. Chicken serving was a solo small/medium breast.Victoria bitter and ghostship were well kept.Prices: £16-19 for one main.

This is a fabulous village pub, isitting atop of the village green in Easton. From the hostelry, looking out over this well kept village, which has a wealth of history and charm to offer the visitor, you can enjoy fabulous food and drink. The service is warm and welcoming, and the cooking is of the highest standard.Almost adjacent to the pub is a small, non-descript gateway, which leads the enquiring visitor up to the 14thC Church, itself an archive of information about its encumbents over time, and a memorial to the elite families, whose own rising and falling fortunes mirrored that of the village...there is always a retreat to the White Horse to regain your composure with fine food and drink...and to gaze at the 'crinkle crankle' wall...

Nice dog friendly village pub, they have a few themed food nights, for example Malasian food on Tuesdays; however, there are not too many vegitarian/vegan options which seems typical for many Suffolk pubs. Friendly staff and whilst a big place, it is sub-divided into many smaller cosy rooms, and had the fires going on a cold Febuary evening.
