Very disappointed long awaited meal out.Got directed to the snug area which was so noisy we couldn't have a conversation with each other.Food was OK nothing special.Lovely friendly young man served us he was on a trial night

The problem with having more that one web site is ensuring that each contains the same information. This site clearly states ‘dog friendly’ but does not include the restriction to snug, bar or beer garden only - which other sites do.

As regulars, this was our first visit since the change of ownership and new chef. All three courses couldn't be faulted. Service still very efficient and with a smile. Will be back soon!

Had a lovely meal here, food was much better than before. You have to try the cookie dough! Waitress was welcoming and attentive throughout, looking forward to returning!

The Turks Head is an absolutely fabulous restaurant. The interior is warm, beautifully decorated and inviting. The service was fantastic and the food was wonderful. I had the burger which was cooked perfectly and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Lovely evening, I highly recommend.

Staff lovely and helpful. Food very nice and plenty. Good vegetarian selection. Only one fault, the main course could have been hotter. Will definitely go again and happy to recommend.

A beautiful location. Wonderful, efficient, friendly service. A wide selection of dishes to cater for all tastes with a dedicated vegan/veggie menu.The food is excellent, the ambience is great.Really enjoyed our dinner here.

Superb food after walking our dogs on one of the suggested local dog walks. Relaxed outdoor atmosphere in a looked after and well designed garden. One of our favourite pubs!

Fantastic!! 6 adults and 2 kids left with full tummies and big smiles! Possibly one of the best Sunday Roasts I have ever had. Staff couldn't have been more pleasant and antentive. We have been meaning to come here for a while and they didn't disappoint. We will be coming back for sure.
