My sister is 28 years old, was ID’d for lucazade that she was buying for me whilst I was in labour, and some red bull for my partner. She didn’t have it on her, so was refused by a ridiculous girl who clearly needs re training. She was buying it amongst her household shopping, a good £40 of things. The girls attitude was disgusting and told my sister that she looked under 16! She had her car keys on her, having just drove there, piercings, some tattoos, was in her work uniform, and had just bought cigarettes from the counter inside only 10 mins earlier. The girl sassily offered to get her manager, who came over and said that they have to go with their staffs discretion. My sister asked, do you think I look under 16? To which the manager replied no. But still wouldn’t serve her. My sister suggested that their staff needed re-training. Obviously. So I am in labour and my sister has to drive somewhere else to buy the exact same items. Will never shop at this store again, so utterly disappointed. Attitude was disgusting.

Waitrose quality is ever present. Yes, it costs more for the weekly shop.....but the weekly enjoyment is worth it. Great food, great service, great staff......and one of the few places you can buy Snowdonia cheese😊. Keep it up guy's.....I'm a fan.....and always will be.

online shopping was a complete nightmare, they need to update their admin emails as they send you completely the wrong place in the store, then a rude member of staff starts telling you its your problem! there were a couple of understandin staff members but this needs to drastically change since you pay through the nose to be handling grief when it's supposed to make it easier!!

All staff were helpful and friendly, during a very busy time. It was a delight to do my Christmas shopping here. No stress 🙌 Thank you so much 🥂🎄

Lovely place, we love going to Waitrose. The staff are fantastic and so helpful. When walking around and seeing all the festive food and decorations, it really makes you feel Chrismasy.

Staff are doing a great job.I really feel for shop workers at this time. To have to cope with Christmas week madness on top of the Covid pandemic..... your calm and professional poise is admirable.Thankyou to all the staff who helped this out of towner today.I wish you all a well deserved rest and Happy Christmas.

Went for coffee in Waitrose cafe this week.. Shame the experience was let down by the service. Only 2 serving made it very slow getting the drinks - another person was needed- it wasn't just slow machines. Also they didn't work in a very focused way - similar with staff clearing tables. Waitrose, please up your game in the cafe.

The shop is fine apart from some shortages. The cafe was something else. The lady in front of me was told they had run out of full milk. When she offered to go downstairs and buy some she was told they weren't allowed to do that. Next due to technical difficulties there was no hot food. We could however have sausage rolls. When we got to order there were no rolls and they weren't allowed to use bread. I could however have avocado and bacon on toast. Don't ask me why but I just don't understand how they expect to carry on trading.

Good as usual. However, I would have given 5 stars but for shoppers going to the lotto counter with loaded shopping baskets. Meaning I would have to wait for them to pay for their shopping, when they should do as everyone else does, and use the proper checkouts. Very annoying and laziness. However, Waitrose coffee shop was incredible. Only people who booked a table, (via a very pleasant young lady positioned at the foot of the stairs) meaning that when you went into the coffee shop, only booked and well spaced tables were occupied. No crowding, which made for a safe pleasant coffee and a sandwich. Well done Waitrose coffee shop staff. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
