Quirky little pub in a beautiful village. Small menu but well done. Plenty of real ales on tap

I would really recommend this place. A lovley village pub with a great outdoor space. We visited whilst it's beer festival was on. There was a great range of beers and also a great food menu cooked outside on a wood fired oven.

We went on a day when there was a vintage car event in the attached garden area. Very relaxed atmosphere in the garden and excellent food from the outdoor kitchen/BBQ area. Dog friendly and good service.

Fantastic find on a walk. Beautiful little community pub with many original features. They were holding a beer festival and go cart race when we arrived. Great pub.

Lovely setting for a lovely old pub. Plenty of outdoor tables and huge field for parking. Beer was on good form . Adnams bitter and Woodfordes werry from the cask. Food was basic pub fare but was quite exspensive for what it was. Landlady closed 3pm on the dot !!

Very nice food, so good to meet and eat with friends. Staff need a little more training but otherwise very good.

Brilliant pub, brewery and restaurant. Last visited 8 years ago and still here and even better. We always visit whenever we come to our favourite place in the country. Owners are excellent and work so hard to please.Highly recommended

An unspoiled and unpretentious village pub in a lovely location.On-line reviews were mixed and the menu was hard to make out beyond the pub classics so we went with family feeling uncertain, however, it worked out very well. the food was tasty, well-presented and appeared to have been prepared by someone who cared and taste.The light bites menu gave enough choice to suit the older generation, whilst the pub favourites suited those with a good appetite.A choice of 2 real ales, straight from the barrel as well as draught cider.I'd certainly go back!
