Great meal. Service fab. "Should I stay" by Gabrielle!!

Had a valentines meal here and it has impressed me the food was good the atmosphere was very nice and staff polite also very good and timing they tables so no one waited long at all. I'm quite fussy to please too x

Spent New Year eve there with a fantastic American singer that really made the place rock, wonderful food, fantastic entertainment - well worth the cost, definitely be back

Born in Birmingham, I was a regular visitor to the "Balti belt". After 15 years of living in Colchester I have a found a Chicken Tikka Masala that rivals any curry house in Birmingham. 5 stars and one word awesome !

It took an hour and forty minutes to send food less than two miles. I called up several times to chase up the order, and received a range of increasingly ridiculous excuses (but not a single apology). And I got hung up on twice When the food finally arrived (at 10pm), it was cold. Won't ever be ordering from Bengal Diner again.

Fantastic meal great service lovely staff lovely environment. Food was great highly recommended.

29/08/21 we ordered King prawn bhuna and chicken byrianni, both were not good ! Bhuna had only thin pieces of prawn, and just loads of onions, no sauce to speak of and no flavour. Byrianni was stringy pieces of chicken that were so salty, could manage only half! 3 drinks and 2 icecreams £55! Would not recommend..on the plus side, waitress was professional and polite .

Booked to see Blues Bros but they could not come due to Covid!! So they booked another singer which they told us after we sat down. He was ok better than nothing as there was a few of us enjoying the evening. I would not of booked to see him and was disappointed not to seeThe blues brothers but at least they found a replacement. Food very good.

Not being funny or anything but what a joke this place is! Ordered 2 hours early to give them enough time to make the food... it still turned up an hour late. The delivery driver was a nice lad but I over heard his boss giving him a right mouthful down the phone which was un called for, in the end I told the delivery driver to quit his job and not to work for a low life piece of ****. Opened the bag once inside to find out half the items were missing, phoned back and the bloke just hung up. Absolutely awful. Should of read the reviews first.

I really like the Bengal Diner, it's a bit of a trek for me from Wivenhoe but they thankfully deliver all the way out to us! :D The food is really nice, and the atmosphere in the actual restaurant is great as well. :) Top marks!
