Bluebird Tearooms in Tendring

My first time visiting this quaint little restaurant, the ambiance is perfect, no loud banging music, clean & tidy the staff are there to please you & they certainly do that above and beyond that actually. I went for the full English breakfast. I’ve seen reviews on this restaurant & people saying it’s well overpriced, listen there’s a saying in life, you pay for what you get, and at Bluebird’s you certainly get that, the food is absolutely scrumptious, when my breakfast came out it looked amazing. The sausage’s are banging, poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The pot of tea get’s you 6 cups & in fine bone china. I will certainly recommend this establishment to one & all, in fact I’m going back tomorrow with the wife, it’s now going to be my local for breakfast. Although it doesn't look very big from the outside, it's actually very spacious inside with lots of seating. We had breakfast in here and the menu choices are pretty good. I really enjoyed my pancake stack with maple syrup and bacon. We also had a decent size pot of tea between the 2 of us. I would recommend this place.

We had a table for 8 of us on a Saturday morning. The staff were so helpful and friendly...kept checking if we needed another pot of tea. Lovely cosy surroundings...ideal for meeting friends.

Thank you to all the hard working staff who made the art class Christmas Dinner a lovely afternoon. I went there wiv my dad and sister and really enjoyed the afternoon. The food was nice staff was lovely they couldn't do enough for us .I will deffo be back to sample afternoon tea ..keep up the good work

Love this place ...love the decor inside ....excellent customer service, had eggs Royale ,absolutely delicious ,cooked fresh,arrived warm and presented well....a relaxed atmosphere, very clean ...would highly recommend...thank you for a delicious breakfast, will definitely be back ...a little gem in clacton

I brought my mum in law here as a treat and neither of us were disappointed. Service excellent. Food so fresh. Definitely worth a trip here. We are hoping to go again in October while we are on holiday A+++

Loved it! We had tea, cakes and sandwiches. The place is a traditional tea room and decor matches the style. My daughter said 'this place is for old people' Lol, the decor had a traditional style that suited the atmosphere. The food was amazing, the milkshake was spot on. Everything tasted lovely and freshly make/cooked. Highly recommended! Love it.
