Bradwell's Cafe in Tendring

Amazing views and great value for money meals with friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We ate at the restaurant twice during our stay and the food and service were excellent on both occasions. A great selection of specials - the Moroccan lamb chops and apple pie were outstanding. Well spaced tables inside and a great view across the marina and river from the outside tables on the deck. We will definitely return.

Outstanding food with quality ingredients perfectly cooked and the cooked breakfast is one of the best I have ever had. Sraff really nice people. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.The restaurant was taken over in Feb 2021. The quality of the food is still excellent and combined with a really warm welcome it is a lovely place to go

Since being in new hands the place has a real atmosphere now, & the food is awesome!

We ate on bank holiday Monday a salt beef baguette, which we had firstly been told no salt beef then the lady who owns the place said that they did have some. My partner and I joked saying hope it wasn’t found at the back of fridge from March when lock down started! God I recon it was- we both had terrible tummy aches all Nt, and tummy trouble next day, and it’s now Thurs and I still feel sick and awful!Never again!

We cycled their this bank holiday weekend and sampled 2 fish finger sandwiches and 2 black coffees. Both were very very good and much needed before our return journey.... a nice place to stop and by the looks of google maps one of very few options in this area. I would recommend ....

Seemed very welcoming, even to children. Sells ice creams and we had coffees and sat outside.

The Marina Bar and Restaurant is very welcome after a cold day at sea. Friendly staff, good standard of food, though the choice of wine and beer is not extensive.
