Best Fish & Chips in Manningtree (and then some) for my money! Great to see Chilvers back doing what they do best, can't recommend their food enough.

Never had a bad meal. Always very friendly and very good price

Some of the laughable so called reviews are ridiculous, giving one star for turning up late :O)) get a grip. It's a good old fashioned honest chippy, if you want the Ritz go to the Ritz. We love it.

This is the best fish and chips around Manningtree. The owners are very polite and take an interest in thier customers when they have time to chat. But are usually very busy as people know how good thier food tastes.

Horrible, batter on fish and sausages was soggy and saturated with oil, chips were Gritty and tasteless. Best off going down the road to riverside fish& chips

Chilvers Fish & Chips are Thee Very Best money can buy.Always freshly cooked and so yummy scummy.If asked, the friendly lady and gentleman will always double cook your chips, making them super crunchy.We look forward to indulging ourselves whenever we are in the area.I very often finish them before getting home or go down to Mistley to eat them.Tonight is the night, can't wait.
