Costa Coffee in Tendring

Every time I go to sit in the restaurant is closed. Why have seating if it is take out only.

Love to visit occasionally. Have got to know some staff, all staff are friendly and helpful. Just need to ask that the coffee is extra hot. There's a set temperature which is luke warm.

Arrived on Monday afternoon to be turned away, unless we would like take away, due to lack of tables. This was despite the fact that the tables, which had been made unavailable, were much further away from customers than some of the tables where two tables of customers were sat close to each other. We asked what time they closed so we could come back a bit later. We arrived back at 16:28 (32 minutes before close) to be informed that we could not have any of the hot food as the ovens had already been turned off. We regularly visit the different Costas in Clacton and have not been disappointed like this before but the staff just seemed to be lacking effort at this venue. We will steer clear next time and stick to the others.

Rude the manager. What ever you do don't pick threw the food. That is baned. She doesn't speak to customers in the right way. She even baned a 84 year old from their. Don't get my money no more scum bag. That's Clacton on Sea peir Avenue.

This review is new and due to Morrison's having no toilet I was nearly caught short. Costa now have code entry only locks on their toilets and I find this disgusting I know it's a one off but the nearest toilet is the middle of town!

Asked for extra hot coffee and it was Luke warm. Service slow. Coffee not that great in taste...and although its not important it didn't have the Costa finish in the froth. Seemed more interested in serving a group of people they new.

Costa serves the best coffee.. simple... not a particular coffee fan, however tried quite few different brands and local coffee caters... but no one can produce taste like Costa or I'm just addicted to costa 😂😂Love their chocolate brownies... delicious ..

Never enough staff the hot chocolate was watery and the food looked like it had just been slung in the display cabinet. But too be fair it's not always like that.

Great hot chocolate as always. Only 1 member of staff taking orders money and making the drinks. How can this b right!! Long wait to b served.
