Wouldnāt recommend. Received raw fish (cod) so went in to exchange it for cheesy chips, luckily it wasnāt a problem to get my money back. However I havenāt received a word of apology which in my opinion shows lack of respect. I will not be coming back. Also was waiting for one portion of cheesy chips much longer then my mates who ordered after me and I had to remind the staff multiple times that I still havenāt received my full order.

Absolutely delicious fish&chips cooked to perfection however, its quite pricey for the portion sizes!! Either lower the price or improve the portion sizes and this place could be five stars!! Almost £20 for 3 tiny cods and a small chips... Daylight robbery.Clean plaice (pun intended) and nice staff

I will never step foot in this place again! Over Priced, Rude Staff and the food is awful!!! They got our order completely wrong then demanded more money for my children to have battered sausages even though it was there mistake and I gave the lady our order 4 times!! We had to wait another 4 minutes whilst they cooked the sausages and our chips were stone cold and the batter was raw!!! My son felt sick after eating here. There are better places to go don't spend your money here.

The BEST chips I've ever had. Prices fairly good considering it's a holiday location, amazing chips and chicken nuggets, lovely staff, highly recommend š

Such a shame the chips were so under cooked as the would have been nice if cooked longer, the batter on the fish was lovely but the fish itself didn't have much taste to it.

FANTASTIC fish and chips! We weren't expecting great things given their premium location and expected their produce to be of poor quality but they served up some of the best fish and chips I have EVER had... and I have a lot!!!!

I am a little bit puzzled here? In all fairness I will normally avoid fish and chips on any pier as the quality is normally poor, and the prices high. However on visiting on 3rd April 2021 the price was competitive and the quality was extremely good. Perhaps I was lucky? Went back there on 11th with my brother and his family - his comments were 'this is the best fish and chips I have had for a long time' - Will go back again next time in Clacton.

Donāt normally moan about fast food places on a pier because you canāt expect much. But the chips were poor so I got some more from a place opposite that were fresh. Only to be told I cant sit on the benches as they were for customers even though I had paid for poor quality food and there were loads of empty seating.Poor customer service and just plain rude from grey haired old man, I assume the owner or an over zealous employee who needs to get off his high horse. Also during Covid they are cash only? Either they donāt care about the safety of customers or someoneās gaining from cash only.

Twice I've been now. First time was awful but busy so put it down to them being under pressure. Went again and asked for a battered sausage and chips. Chips greasy and sausage floppy and tasteless. I mentioned this to them and was told by a rude lady "you are only one who has complained" No offer of replacement or anything. Should have stuck with the guys at Geo's in town

Fast service , average fish and chips. Tasted nice and fresh. Chips were not too greasy or oily, appeared home made. Easy access as it's right next to the pier entrance. Recommend for quick bite of fish and chips!
