"We are a seafront cafe, directly on the beach, with outdoor seating only. We offer an extensive menu with daily specials, and we are licensed to sell alcohol both on and off the premises. We serve fresh coffee, ice creams and home made cakes. A selection of beach toys and products are available to purchase. We are open everyday from April to August, but due to our exposed seafront location, we will close if the weather is inclement."

I keep going here, half for the food and half for the cheekyness.It's far enough away from the peir to enjoy the beach without hoards of tourists.A proper cafe not an coffee shop.Descent food with decent portions,Home made cakes and a full bar too.Love it here they even have music events too.As for the owner she is old school gobby if you know what I mean (gonna get a slap of that comment)She is open on sundays for dogs that meet up for a weekly walk and bakes cakes for the dogs.A proper cafe doing proper cafe stuff.. ..

Big delicious breakfasts for my partner and me - and a very happy dog. Weather permitting - outside seating only. Vegan friendly.

Freshly cooked food , opens out of season with outside seating. Nice vegan options and really pleasant staff. All this and next to the beach ! Perfect 👍

Very nice cafe, right on sea front of holland on sea our two large rolls (1xtuna 1 x cheese N ham) were very well filled, a bit of side salad would have been nice but very good value, we enjoyed the coffee too

What an absolutely delightful promenade cafe! All you could wish for during a stroll between Clacton and Holland on Sea.Wonderful selection of savoury and sweet food. The dessert portions are especially generous!!Friendly, hard working, attentive staff, well maintained and presented premises in a fantastic location.Well worth a visit.

Planned an 8 mile walk with a trip to Flags cafe in the middle. Arrived to a sign saying there was a limited menu as they were short staffed due to sickness. I feared that the vegan options would be the first to go. I asked if a vegan breakfast could be managed to which the reply was yes so my wife and I had one each. It was delicious and a good sized portion too. Very friendly staff and a lovely location. We will be back.
