Franco's in Tendring

Staff seem to be pleasant and helpful but had 2 issues there of which I did not expect to be resolved based on the circumstances.Hot pot nearly burnt my fingers, no notice or warning given to the customer, also asked for a well cooked lamb, and come out pink on the inside.Overall below the bar considering the cost of eating in the place.So I’ve had a reply from owner telling me I ordered medium rare. After spending almost £30 on a dish I’m pretty sure I requested the lamb to be well done!Buy the way your staff did not warn me of the plate being hot. Please stop covering up with your lies!

Fantastic friendly restaurant great front of house and a very knowledgable chef who is only to happy to come and chat with you at your table about his menu .we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be back soon .very big portion s

We've lived here for over 10 years and can't believe that we haven't been here before. Absolutely fabulous food, atmosphere, and service. Just need to be mega hungry before we go again as the portions are very generous.

Honestly, not for me. If you're big into fish then this is probably the best place in Clacton. I prefer pasta and unfortunately didn't rate my arribiata, steak was a bit burnt but seafood linguini was excellent. Service was reasonable and we were served fairly quickly.

My favourite restaurant ever, we go on special occasions as it’s a superb treat, excellent food and wide varied menu and specials board to choose from, clean, tidy, friendly

Me and my wife had a fantastic meal tonight and the food was just outstanding and cooked to perfection, highly recommend and Thank you to Franco and all the staff 👌 definitely will be returning 👍 from Aysha & Gary A & G furniture

What a find in Clacton, a fantastic Restaurant with a lovely ambience and friendly staff, not to mention the amazing food. I particularly liked the fact that the menu was varied, too many places offer the same as everywhere else, but not here. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for, quality food cooked and served by people who know what they are doing.

We chose this place for my girlfriend 31st birthday meal. And it was lovely. Lovely service. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Really nice vibe. Highly recommend

Friendly staff... Food overall is ok ... not much italian dishes .. t bone steak is not the best taste .. they will charge extra for the sause if u order steak .. mushroom is not the best taste .. if you want eat real italian foods i woundn't recomend this place.. prise ££.
