Geos Fish Bar in Tendring

Took friend back home from South London to Clacton so stopped for fish & chip meal followed by McD's ice-cream. Waiter used to live in South London: what are the chances?

Great food and great service..Had a family sit down meal on Tuesday and love it. Proper Fish and Chips and well priced and very friendly service 👍

The food was great, just what you want to eat in a traditional chip shop. Nice little sit down area too. Very reasonably priced. The service was very good. Definitely go there again 😃

Shared a very good lunch with my friend and my son. Cod and chips good size portion, served hot, very tasty. My son had sausages in batter with chips not had that choice in a while, really enjoyed it. My friend had the pasty with chips and salad again enjoyed her meal. Restaurant very busy but service prompt and polite. All tables and chairs wiped down between customers. Not too expensive either.

Clean place, friendly staff and food was delicious. The fish wasn't greasy like some fish places are. Will definitely visit again.

The staff are very friendly and polite and nothing is to much trouble.I had my favourite which is the haddock beautifully cooked moist and the batter was really crispy my wife loves the skate and always has that without batter, something not all restaurants will do, she always enjoys this and today was no exception my only disappointment was she managed to eat all of it I was hoping for a little tast, no chance. If you're in Clacton and want fish and chips this is the only place to eat.

Amazing fish and chips. Probably some of the best fish and chips I have had. The great feature is that they have a small area you can eat-in. The fish, batter and chips were fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Price was good as well. Highly recommended.
