Good Taste Cafe in Tendring

Worst cafe i have ever been to by far! £4.80 for literally half a bacon and sausage baguette cut into two and it wasn't even buttered. The waitress was beyond rude because i asked for sauce for my unbuttered baguette. I will never return there again and i would advise anybody thinking of doing so to use the cafe on the opposite of the road as its100x better!

Picked this cafe as we thought it looked a bit more welcoming then the one across the road but appearance is deceiving. Tea arrived with the teabag floating in the mug and bread was served spread with cheap margarine. Whole breakfast was underwhelming .won't bother visiting againSadly

Helpful staff, portion was small. Loads of onions, chips and gravy, not much liver, only one slice of bacon. Clean and tidy. Would not rush back for the prices, if portions are small.

It's ok waited a bit to get served, the bacon sandwich plus Americano not to bad it would be a bit better if the solution they spray on the table wasn't so STICKY so leaning on the table with bare skin isn't advised .

Waited patiently to be served until had to ask if our order could be taken. The same waitress said she would come soon but then instead of coming over to us unbelievably went over and served someone else that came in after us. Needless to say we got up and left.

Easy 5 stars. Stopped off for Sunday morning breakfast and it was delicious. The ladies serving were really friendly. Lots of seating available…nice relaxed atmosphere. Very clean. If you’re in Walton and you fancy breakfast this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Everytime we come here the food and staff are great.There's no parking directly outside as double yellow lines.But worth the wait if they are busy.

Excellent way to start our day. Superb sausage and mushroom bap .shame the latte came in a tall glass cup. Just my personal taste though!

Yes, good food at a reasonable price. We opted for the over 60s menu. There were four to choose from at £4.90 each. The chilli con carne was a bit too small for my husband, so he topped it off with chocolate sponge and custard. My pie, chips and vegetables was perfectly adequate. I didn't enjoy the coffee, which was heated milk with coffee added, but that's down to a matter of taste. Would go again.
