Grandma Lillys in Tendring

We usually have breakfast or lunch here; we love the way we can book and request my husband's favourite meal. The food is freshly cooked, very tasty and they make gravy just like my mum used to make.As it was our cousin's birthday, we decided to treat her to an afternoon tea. The assortment of sandwiches and rolls were very tasty and the cakes were yummy. Our lovely waitress kept us topped up with tea.We had an afternoon tea from other venues that were more expensive and rushed, and so if you want a relaxed meal of any kind, with great food and staff, then I highly recommend Grandma Lily's

Went for Sunday Lunch with my husband , my 2 daughters , son in law, 5yr old Grandson and 1 Yr old Grand daughter plus my elderly Mother so many different tastes to cater for . There was plenty to choose from the Menu and the food was so good . Service was great. The waitress asked if we would like childrens meals sent out with our starters which you rarely.get asked these days so the children did not have to wait . Couldn't fault our visit . We will definitely be going back .

Me and my partner decided to go for lunch for his birthday, so glad we chose Grandma Lillys great service from the moment we got here very pleasant and friendly lovely ladies who served us food was delicious and fresh vegetables we both ordered homemade steak and kidney puddings was so tasty, we also had dessert was so delicious, there was lots to choose from on the menu we will definitely going back ...😊😊😊 Thankyou!!

I ordered 3 meals & 3 deserts on Sunday as a treat 4 my friends 70th birthday..I ordered through the restaurant in the wk..was very surprised how my experience was so awful as I have ordered from them b 4..but it was late by over an hr..very rude 2 me on the phone when I rung 2 found out why it was late & the meals were so awful we threw them away..its safe 2 say won't b ordering anything from them again. Nacho's are extremely nice. Wide range of excellent food. Staff are very kind. Fran has served us multiple times and all have been amazing service. Decorations are very beautiful as well. 👍

Absolutely delicious Sunday roast dinner!!. Fresh veg and fresh roast potatoes not frozen. Would highly recommend but make sure you have large dinner plates. Delivered hot too.

Best breakfast I had in a long time sausages are perfectly cooked and good quality, hash browns crispy perfectly toasted bread ..great quality!!! A must for breakfast!!!! We also had some yummy scones with clotted cream and jam ❤

We really enjoyed this lovely tearoom. The waitress was friendly and the food was good. Nice varied menu too. The decor is very pretty too. Would definitely return.
