Ha' Penny Brasserie The Pier Harwich in Tendring

Perfect food and service, can't fault the place! Their duck tacos were delicious and the famous fish and chips was brilliant as well. Cocktails were good and I'd recommend the plantation pineapple stiggins fancy rum on the rocks!

Great meal in a lovely building on the waterfront at Harwich. I had Modules Marinere and my other half had Fish Pie Luxe. Both excellent. Loads of mussels and really great fish pie. Really attentive, friendly service with a lovely view across the estuary. Would visit again.

Delicious food both dinner and breakfast, lovely staff and very comfortable rooms. The little touches make all the difference. Highly reccomend The Pier. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The service was appalling, had to keep chasing staff. Part of our order got given to someone else, so two of us had near on finished before my hubby got his. Don't rate the food much, and really pricey. Won't be going back

Moved to Essex, from Cambridge couple of months ago, and recommended The Pier.Been a favourite ever since. Friendly, Professional staff, such a difference from Cambridge restaurants who can't be bothered!Food fab , not harassed by staff , just a enjoyable atmosphere. Great views over the water, looking forward to summer on the balcony!

Jessica and the team were superb. Very accommodating. Restaurant was fantastic, brilliant food. Rooms were ideal and breakfast excellent! Highly recommended!

The pier Hotel manages a very high standard throughout your entire stay. Room cleanliness is superb, and finely presented. With good access to amenities such as Sky TV in every room. The beds in themselves are wonderfully comfortable.Breakfast that following morning, is astonishingly delicious. I can say with confidence, that I have tried everything over my numerous stays. To top this, you will most likely be met by Caroline who will serve you, your food. Truly the most kind hearted person I have met to date. She will move mountains to ensure that you are satisfied with your food. She has a persona about herself, that will fill you with confidence for the rest of your day.All of the staff at the hotel, are always friendly and willing to assist you with any of your needs. I will always come back to this hotel whenever I'm in the area.

We had the sea view room..It was super clean..Even had a fridge with 4 bottles of water. 4 cokes.A bottle of milk for the tea and coffee. Witg complementary custard creams.Shower gel. Shampoo and conditioner..The food at the restaurant was an absolute 10/10.Everything was cooked to perfection.The flavours were unrealHats off to the chefs

A great family meal in a lovely atmosphere. Excellent food, difficult to choose from so many amazing dishes, reasonably priced with a very good drinks menu. Service a little slow but very helpful and friendly staff.

Great Food and Drinks. Muscles were very well prepared, Watermelon salad was also very nice. Apspel cider chilled to perfection. Great buzz from the quayside opposite. We dined outside on the terrace. Recommended.
