Average pub food at expensive restaurant prices, and very slow service.This was not a wholly bad experience… BUT, if you are going to have a fancy written menu and expensive prices, your service and food needs to match, otherwise you are setting yourself up for a poor critic.For example, the “Line caught cod loin” was bog-standard fish and chips. While the chips were nice, the fish had a mysterious yellow greasy residue between the batter and the fish which made it inedible.The ‘Jack Daniels rack of ribs was good, although the Cajun halloumi burger was overcooked and dry.Almost an hour and half for our main course to arrive and another extended wait for desert despite the restaurant being empty by this time.The waitress was willing, although had limited knowledge of the menu.So much room for improvement… and really not good enough to entice me to return anytime soon.

Perfect atmosphere to dine, relax and enjoy the sunshine, food is outstanding everytime, highly recommend!

Food was very average & service not great. It took us nearly three hours for a starter & main. We did find it quite funny watching the waiter with the man-bun trying to discretely supply his own produce to hungry locals 🤪

WOW! Amazing experience at Harry's bar, we had an overnight stay at lifehouse Spa and decided to come out for an evening meal and drinks. Tim and Mark were really friendly and made it a really enjoyable evening. The food was incredible, such a varied menu and so different, highly recommend!! Will definitely be coming back!!!
