Lucca in Tendring

I had a gorgeous prawn linguine (always with the prawn on these reviews...), a very nice glass of wine and an espresso martini for pud. Staff were nice, the vibe was good, and Manningtree is pretty. Will almost certainly visit again!

Tasty food, great atmosphere, warm welcome, friendly staff, reasonable pricing. We're very pleased we stopped off here on our way home from the Harwich ferry!

Lovely atmosphere with friendly helpful staff, great food and service with very reasonable prices. Overall a very good experience that I'll gladly return and recommend.What's more is, that even though they were short staffed, they carried on with smiley faces giving great service. 😍👌

First time visiting & sadly disappointed. Will not be back :( Booked here because the reviews were great, but food was average & felt like we were sitting in a wetherspoons. Lighting was awful, could barely read the menu. Not the authentic fresh full of flavour Italian food / experience I expected. Spaghetti dish had barely any flavour & very watery. Staff were lovely but were either coming over every 1-2 minutes (different staff member every time asking us the same thing) which we found quite a lot when we were just trying to get in to & enjoy our meal & chat but then had to wait a long time to pay / leave.

The food was excellent, the service fantastic.They were extremely helpful, I had mistakenly ordered a meal , they took it back and got me a different one. I said it was my fault and they said it's no problem we will change it.. I am so impressed 👏

We had an excellent lunch at Lucca Enoteca today - the kids thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas and pasta as well! Portions were generous in size and service very friendly. Fresh food cooked simply and well. We'll definitely be back.

We popped in for a Sunday lunch with my son and we didn't have a reservation. We were treated brilliantly! The food was very good and we had the best service I have ever received in England. My husband had a gigantic calzone, my son a child's pizza and I had spaghetti gamberi. We shared fried zucchini and a tiramisu. Everything was fresh and delicious. Fantastic place, we will definitely be back!
