Great breakfast!Lots of space to move tables and have a large group all sit together.Great to order on the app.All the food arrived quickly and all together.Good selection of items for breakfast and very reasonably priced.

Love having a drink or few here especially when we're all sitting outside,nice atmosphere and friendly staff,nice bunch of people drink there and we've never had any problems.Great prices.for tasty food😀👌👌❤️

I came here on Easter Bank Holiday Sunday and despite the place being busy I was served a decent pint of guest beer promptly. The outside seats were all taken, but I got a table to myself inside and enjoyed my drink. The pub is in a very good location; opposite the entrance to the pier.

A very atmospheric venue overlooking the road to the pier. As a venue it is welcoming, spacious and warm. There are plenty of varying seating options with a central gas fire during the colder months. Patrons are amicable and are happy to engage in conversation should you wish it. The staff are professional and steadfast in delivering good quality service. Although one can use the app, I do recommend visiting the bar in order to see what specials are available for dining and drinks on offer. There is outdoor seating available but you will need to visit the bar as the numbers are missing!For those visiting for the air show, it is a prime location to view the aircraft do their thing whilst enjoying refreshments.

We visited here after having a long walk along the seafront. It was very busy but we were able to find a table for two. The table was clean and the staff were superb. I ordered a coffee but both machines were out of milk. I informed the guy behind the bar and he came straight out to fill them up. We ordered our meal and were told 15 minutes wait due to it being so busy. 15 mins after I sat down our meal was on the table. Hubby had half lemon and herb chicken and I had chicken in a basket with rice. Arrived red hot and was absolutely delicious. Well done to all staff, you worked very hard and it all ran like clockwork. We will be back next time we are in Clacton.

Standard place, used app to order food came fast. Machine out of stock so no hot chocolate just coffee or tea. Staff nice, cheap food.

Used this place for a few days in January when in the area midweek and have to say I was impressed with the running of the place, we used the mobile app to order drinks and food and the service was quick and efficient . The pub was very clean , even the gents for a change and we saw tables being cleared and wiped down almost immediately after being vacated.Even though we visited in winter it was at around 75% capacity , I can imagine it is very busy in summer.

Love this place. Gr8 location with plenty seating and outdoor seating if required.Often come here as it's central to everything including the Clacton Pier. Lot's to do around here and the meals are quick,hot and tasty 🍽 🍔🥓 and to top it off you usually get a drink with your meal at a cheap price. Win 🏆win...🍺👍👍👍this meal was the 6oz burger with bacon and cheese as an extra and Chips.

Another town another spoons. Moon and starfish was good. A great location opposite the Pier. It was Rather busy when I visited but still served quickly. Seating outside and a smoking area as well.

Well at least this time has definitely made our minds up about eating here again. Always cold, missing toast, not that it mattered because the whole breakfast was cold, as usual, this time it looked like they scraped it from the bin and they had no salt available to disguise the taste. Id be embarrassed to serve this rubbish in my establishment.
