Morrisons in Tendring

We waited 25 minutes for a full English breakfast. People arriving after us got served and we're then told it was going to be another 30 minutes. We were only offered a refund not a drink or an apology. Felt sorry for the till girl who didn't know why service was so bad.

Most main meals are microwaved, sometimes the wait time is so long that you could go round the shop, buy the food you want, go home and cook it and start eating it before they bring your food too you. I stopped eating here when they changed the furniture. The seats do nothing for your back. All hard seats. Makes my back hurt and I like to be comfy when I eat.

Lovely clean place to eat. You get your drink order you meal n it's brought out to you. We had the big breakfast and it was gorgeous. Staff are so welcoming and friendly.

On the comfort level I would say it is lacking. Uncomfortable seats and quite dirty. The tea was awful, the cheapest tea bags and deeply stained metal teapots. The food was disappointing, not only in taste, the cheapest ingredients, but also portion size. I have eaten in many Morrisons cafés and I would say that this one was one of the worse!

It is just as you expect from supermarket cafe reasonable food good value, really nice staff was quite clean good for a small dinner treat for grandchildren

Great value for money and the food isn't bad. The deals for families are particularly good with kids eating free at times and the family deal of 2 adults and 2 children eating for £10 being among the best. In addition the staff are friendly and helpful. It is also well situated for the port if you want to avoid McDonald's or want something other than Brewers Fayre.

Much better style of cafe than before. Not to keen on sitting and eating with huge leak patches on the roof with buckets next to us catching the water. Nor keen on ordering 3 dinners that where all £1 microwave meals that you buy from the freezer section in store. Food really is terrible.

Really lovely cafe. Food reasonable price and atmosphere calm and relaxed. On my days off often like to have a late breakfast there.

Very friendly service here from the staff that run the cafe. Myself and my wife both had really nice breakfasts freshly cooked with ample portion sizes. The cafe has been refurbished recently to a high standard but in the end it’s down to the service and the fayre which we found to be first class.
