peking chinese restaurant in Tendring

First time ordered not for me didn’t really have much flavour and the curry sauce is weird was quite expensive I won’t be going back for anymore

I got a takeaway from this place last night and have a pretty bad food poisoning this morning. It's extremely unlikely to be from any other source. Noodles that are cooked and then left for too long before reheating are very dangerous and I certainly wouldn't recommend this place because this is probably what they do or maybe it's just contaminated - looking at the reviews I'm not the first one to be poisoned, while many other customers might not understand where the symptoms come from. There was also a hair in my food.

Curry sauce was orange and it was horrible Highly recommend sun tong

This chinese is the best in the area,always delivered hot,fresh and tasty highly recommend.

I'm at a loss to understand the negative negative reviews about this place but I discovered this Chinese over 3 months ago and I've never been disappointed with any of my orders.The staff are so lovely and always remember me and all of my food has been delicious.We have a local Chinese in Holland On Sea but I'd rather travel to this one because it's so good!

Delicious, tasted as though everything was freshly cooked. Very reasonably priced. Will be buying again.

Curry sauce was weird. It was sweet. And orange?!Singapore vermicelli noodles had peas in it. It’s not supposed to have peas. And it was not stir fried properly.Egg fried rice. Good.Sweet and sour chicken balls. The batter was salty.Salt chilli squid. Salty.Shredded chilli beef. Great portion. But more sweet than chilli in flavour.Not the best Chinese in the area. Portion size is decent. The noodles had larger bits of meats and shrimps than other takeaways.

Wow! I only ordered from here this evening because it was the only chinese I could find that opened at 4.30pm (I was starving!!!!) I was quite worried because I've never tried it before, and this was my birthday meal. Turns out I didn't need to be worried! The best chinese I've had in a long long time! The whole family loved it! Will definitely be returning. Great service! Thank you ❤

First time tried this, very freshly cooked hot tasty food, not running with oils. Arrived earlier than quoted and very reasonable priced. Will be using again

Just ordered a meal for 5 people and had a great service. Price was good and food was the best I’ve had from a Chinese restaurant in a while. Highly recommend
