My girlfriend is a proper chip monster, and we can honestly say they are one of the best chips we have both tasted.I have personally been here five times, and the food and presentation is superb, and we eat out all the time, if I had to make any criticism, the staff are a bit young and don't really have much of a personality, but the food is absolutely fantastic. Hence why we still gave it a 4 star.

Superb sea food restaurant on Frinton High Street. We'll definitely be back. Added bonus doggy friendly so when the grand dogs come to visit somewhere good to eat rather than usual pub food!

Friendly staff although errors creep in when busy. Our table plus the 2 either side all had problems with our orders. Everything rectified but it leaves an impression.Fish n chips option good, rest of the menu less so. Kids menu I thought was poor quality. Very cheap sausage. Very cheap fish fingers.

Great place for lunch. Fish was incredibly fresh, staff were attentive and friendly. I had the Scampi which was very succulent. Food came out at a good pace, drinks were delivered immediately. My Peroni had no head on it but tasted good.N.B. no high chairs for kids

This is the 2nd dine in experience, and have had several takeaways from here. Each time all the food has been excellent. However just wanted too too give some praise to Louis/Lewis. He has served us on every occasion, and can’t speak highly enough of this young man. So polite, so professional and impeccable manners during service. Well done though both the young waiters, excellent service

Absolutely outstanding service from walking in the door. We had two dogs with us who were given just as much of a welcoming and attention. They liked the free sausage too.We had fish and chips which was excellent and I highly recommend the haloumi fries. Can't wait to dine here again! Thanks!!

Unfortunately this was not a good fish & chips experience. I had high hopes as Frinton is such a lovely area, but the chips literally weren’t cooked, they were hard, really not edible. The cod was nice, but rather small.£8.50 in total. Not worth it.I did ask how long it would take to cook (as it was a takeaway) and the boy said 5-10mins.No idea why the chips weren’t cooked.Clacton fish & chips are far superior & cheaper, you need to up your game Pier One.** Wow - very rude reply. It was TAKEAWAY fish & chips - who tries the chips until they get home - that’s the basis of a takeaway. Why did I take a photo - so people could see the chips were NOT cooked. And I mentioned Clacton as its only a 15 min drive away & half the price of your overpriced undercooked food.*Read your other reviews - you have more negative then positive and with your bad attitude I don’t see you improving.

As it’s lockdown, couldn’t dine in the restaurant therefore went for a takeaway menu instead. Reviews showed the food was amazing and decided to give a try. I was amazed but the freshness of the fried fish. It was absolutely delicious!! 😋 the chips were definitely homemade cut in different sizes. Truly satisfied with the amazing fried fish meal for the day. Hope once lockdown is over. I will get the chance to come in and dine.

1. Service - great2. Cleanliness - great3. Presentation and packaging - great4. Fish - hardly any (maybe 50 g) in a big chunky butter + it is chewy and tasteless (see the picture where I'm pointing a finger at the fish in a £8.20 meal)5. Chips - soggy
