Cod was beautifully cooked and fresh. Very filling and tasty.

Best fish and chips we’ve had in England. And we’ve had our share…..

Me and my daughter had sausage in batter and chips from this place. The sausages were lovely but the chips were a little bit greasy, we eat them, but they didn't live up to the standard you get from other chip shops.

Really liked the chips, but the fish was average / OK... I assumed the food was cooked fresh as we seemed to wait a while. Price seemed about average.

Decent fish and chips, not bad, not especially good, just decent. Highly rated on TripAdvisor but not, based on our single visit (only), for any good reason. Long long wait (Friday night about 8pm) maybe waited 10 to 15 mins. Worse still, failed to fill the order correctly! Paid for a large curry sauce and got a small but of course you don't know until it's too late (as we stood outside along with everyone else after ordering).

Delicious chips cooked in beef dripping, lovely gravy, light batter and beautifully cooked flaky white fish. Staff were great and came to find us to bring our sauces that we forgot! Portion sizes are great too! Highly recommend.

Best fish and chips. Cooked in beef dripping the old fashioned way. Chips just crispy on the outside and super fluffy inside. We had rock eel and that was out of this world lovely crunchy batter not too thick and beautiful moist fish. They serve from the door and you do wait often for the fish to cook. Well worth waiting for.
