Restaurant 43 in Tendring

Our second time dining here. Staff very attentive without being overpowering so you are not made to feel rushed, great food and a very enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Took some old friends out for dinner and it was fab. Staff treated us so well as always and food was exquisite.

Friendly welcoming staff, beautiful food and even let us use our gift voucher , which had expired. Highly recommended. X

Great Sunday Roast and lovely atmosphere in this chic Restaurant by Great Bentley Green.Very stylish and trendy with well dressed staff wearing uniforms. Couldn't fault the service and the Roast was spot on.There's a lovely garden and we will definately go back to be able to sit outside and Dine alfresco!

Lovely place to stay, we had a 4 hour journey to arrive here for a family birthday meal, so it was nice to find a spacious, very clean, well decorated room. The bed was comfortable, and we had a good nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, lovely people. Food and drink in the bar and restaurant was also good, lovely atmosphere too.

Absolutely brilliant the food was excellent couldn't fault it. The service was also faultless. Definitely will be returning to this place. Loosen your belts when you go as the portion sizes are amazing and try the clotted cream ice cream it's the best I have ever tasted.

First time there the other week but will definitely go back.. Nice atmosphere nice food.

Arranged suprise 60th birthday for my husband on the 9th April for 24 people I was overwelmed by the fantastic service and organisation of the evening by Mark & Ruby and the team. The food was amazing and everyone in our party couldnt belive the quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere of the restaurant. Thank you all so much for making this Celebration very special and would highly recomend this restaurant 43 to anyone. Regards Karen & John

I paid a visit to Restaurant 43 on the recommendation of a friend on the 22/7/21 and I’m glad I did. We were greeted just inside the door with a warm friendly smile from a young waitress and shown to our table. The food we chose was cooked beautifully. I started with Scotch egg starter which was so tasty and my friend had the mackerel which was also tasty. My sage and onion slow roasted free range chicken was so succulent and tasty, my friend had the salt marsh lamb which she said was cooked perfectly. We were superbly looked after by the young man Harry who done his job with professional ease. He was friendly and very informative. I don’t know where I found the room but I had the dessert of lemon tart and my friend had the chocolate dessert, again both were delicious, I will definitely be back again, thank you Restaurant 43, a really lovely experience, hence the deserved 5 stars.
