Riverside Fish & Chips in Tendring

Always high quality and fresh food, even when they’re extremely busy.Good Friday being the busiest day of the year, so having to wait 15-20 minutes is amazing considering how many people were ordering. All the staff work so hard and do the max they can. Always friendly and attentive.

Such a shame that you pre order and still have to wait over 20mins for your food. Really can't see the point of having the option to order online then wait as long as people ordering in the shop. When the food did come it was excellent

Happened upon this place when out working late one night. What a find! Everything was cooked fresh to order, at a great price and the quality of food was excellent. Well worth the short wait for it to be cooked. Will be back again soon.

i recently moved to the area and i have found a great take away great customer service and delicious and tasty fish and chips and a great Chicken Fillet Burger yummy and i will be recommending to all my family and friends and will be eating here again soon

Visited the mobile shop at Harwich football ground. Fish was fair enough but the chips were a complete disappointment rather dry and had been made hours before, will visit their shop in Manningtree next time where I have always had good service and high quality food.

came last week...great new decor and food very tasty, little bit of a wait but then it is cooked as you order so worth it...USB ports are a good touch too so you can charge your phone while you wait lol Well done

Came down visiting family at wkend and decided to have a take away my first time having riverside fish and chips and was very happy great service and great food

Since moving to the area I have found Riverside Fish and Chips to be the best around. Food quality is high and prices are reasonable. Inside is nice and clean and staff are always polite and professional.

No one allowed inside, all orders were via a hatch, they had a beep system, like the one Toby carvery's use to tell you when your food was ready so at least you could wait in your car if it was a cold evening. Not the best plaice (fish) I had ever had but not the worst either, lots of chips in a standard portion.

We do love the fish and chips here, please do take Curry Sauce with it, it takes the whole experience to the next level!We were slightly disappointed with our last turn out. Since we were in a rush for a long drive that evening, we called to order 2x Fish and Chips and we've been told it would be done in 20min. After 20min we went there and we find a long queue waiting. We waited for at least 20/25 more minutes. My boyfriend wasn't happy since we arrived quite late on our destination.For the rest I can't complain, they do have good food!
