Disgusting, worse Chinese ever had and expensive

Often eat from here and am never disappointed with the food and quality (would give 5 stars except that they don't put ANY chilli in to spice things up when asked for extra chilli). So we get our own chilli's now to add at home, but everything else is very nice.Update 6/7/22 - picked up tonight and was blown away with how perfect it was. Couldn't get through on the phone so walked round to wait. They're really busy! So tonight was a delicious meal for two and they actually do add chilli's now when asked to! It was really good 👍

Very good food

Food is not very tasty , curry sauce is like tasteless gloop and the chilli and salt ribs I requested were nothing of the sort, just very dry and overdone (probably old) I do not recommend this place.

Generally good food and service. Some experiences of slower service but not often. I would advise phoning ahead to save on waiting time. Card payments would add extra convenience, although there is a cash point easily accessible across the road.

The food here was excellent value and tasty as well. Will be going back. No delivery and cash only.

One reasons why I consider this one of the best takeaways in the area is that it doesn't provide a delivery service. Most of the delivery service Chinese takeaways produce appalingly bad food and worse, because fewer people actually visit them premises are shoddy. A few places on the Hythe Hill in Colchester, for example, should be shut down. Sea View produces food that actually tastes real (and I lived in the Orient for 10 years). The chicken isn't that cubed stuff. The fried rice is actually fried. Pork or chicken in sweet and sour is always chunky and incredibly succulent. Chicken chow mein actually contain big pieces of chicken rather than some shreds. Even with the recent price increase they are cheaper than competitors. Well worth travelling to for superior quality food that actually tastes Chinese!
