Sun Yau in Tendring

Absolutely fabulous the best have had from all over the country but cannot fault this well done

The worst chinese ever. The prawn crackers were stale, curry sauce had no flavour the tasted like they were re heated from yesterday. Chicken chow mein was horrible. The delivery driver came quick will never use again

Came really fast that's the only thing that was good. The food was very poor even the prawn crackers were stale. This was one of the worst take always I've ever had

We're really fussy with Chinese takeaways but read the reviews and went with Sun Yau. All the dishes were really tasty and hot. Delivered quickly and we all really enjoyed it. Thank you Sun Yau, if we're back here again will definitely be placing another order

Bought a chicken curry for the first time more skin than actual meat, not impressed. This is my first time here but will it try again to see if it has improved.

Been going here for years, and I always modify what I order ( less chilli, no meat ) ect, and they always make it to order for me. The food is so fresh and cooked brilliantly, it’s not greasy like most takeaways and the delivery is always very quick. I have been to a lot of Chinese places over the years in Clacton, Frinton and Thorpe and this is by far the best one.

Recently came to Martello and started using this Chinese, everytime so far the service and food is excellent nothing too greasy, very good size portions lasts 2 of us for 2 days could even stretch to 3. Super fast delivery. Best Chinese we have had ☺

1st time ordering from Sun Yau. Quite possibly the best chinese I've ever had. Quick delivery and the food was exceptional.

Worst Chinese we've ever had! Everything was extremely greasy, way too much onion it was very over powering, honestly it was like biting into an onion that had been dipped in oil. The prawn sesame toast was soggy and rubbery, the spring rolls were that bad we had one bite and put them back in there bags, chips were good but hey there chips! So basically overall.... Waited over an hour for some Discusting Grease! I've now got to cook for 3 people at half 10pm and I'm £29 out of pocket!!

Shabby on the out side! but good food and friendly service! Smoked shredded chicken lovely! As always. Crispy beef lovely!
