Such yummy food at the Bell Inn. Crab, salad & fries with fresh bread & butter as well as a fish platter with salad and fresh bread & butter. What a treat, we enjoyed the food so much we went back for more 2 days later. The service and ambiance is a delight too from this unassuming country pub. They serve Timmy Taylors real ale and their rose wine is excellent too. I'd definitely return and also recommend it.

A hidden gem, friendly and attentive staff. Compliments to the chef, the food was fresh tasty and cooked to perfection.Plenty of indoor dining space and a back garden to sit out in and have a drink located next to a beautiful setting of a grand old Church building.

Thoroughly enjoyable meal. Great for GF, chef knew all about Cross Contamination which is a huge worry for a Coeliac. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Stayed here for a few days, staff welcoming and friendly, room very nice with a lovely view.. Although if we stay here again we would choose the Kitty suite. Unfortunately didn't see either of the ghosts Kitty or Frederick.

Second visit and weren't disappointed. Large assortment of spirits and ales, all served very efficiently by knowledgeable staff. Big mention for Victoria. Food was of the highest standard whether breakfast, bar food or restaurant menus were selected.

I ate here a few weeks back and totally forgot to review yourselves!Great staff really friendly, the food came out quickly but was amazing quality, I can’t wait to return.5 stars all day long! Really nice restaurant, highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal out.We then went into the bar part next to the restaurant and again it was great, old fashioned vibe, what a lovely place you have!I’ll be back!

Some of the best food I've had. Went pretty safe with a burger. It was fantastic with relish, cheese and bacon. Chips were good but not amazing. The dessert was fantastic. I was only sorry I couldn't stay longer and have a couple of beers at the bar. Don't live in the area but will definitely try to make it back. Well worth visiting

We're local people to the area & have been on numerous occasions. Food & service always very good.We were very saddened on last nights visit that one of our party wasn't able to make it & her £10 deposit was withheld... really, 6 of us still attended & it's not like a whole table booking was lost. It's left a bitter taste & marred a nice restaurant experience.Be mindful that even if you test positive for covid & have to cancel, you WILL lose your deposit.Very poor.

Just been for Sunday lunch. The food was good and plentiful (although a little expensive). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The main negatives were down to the environment. First the seating was incredibly uncomfortable - tall, hard, stools which did not fit properly under the tables. This resulted in being hunched over tall table and a back ache by the end of the meal. There was also a sports game being watch in an adjacent room, which was a bit of a distraction and not particularly relaxing

Warm and friendly welcome.Top class service and food. Have visited three times and each time was as enjoyable as before. Definately would recommend .
