This a wonderful place to visit. Fantastic surroundings, beautiful plants, shrubs and trees. The lovely tearooms serve fantastic cakes as well as other snacks and there's lots of room to eat inside or outside. A great selection of plants to buy and a little gift shop too. Have visited many times and I would recommend to all ages.

Lovely gardens. Probably better when more plants bloom in May. Plenty of seats around the garden to rest up.Lovely tea room & reasonable price for food & drinks. Yummy scones. Friendly, helpful staff.

I have been here for a visit in November 2021. Stunning gardens, lovely walk and lots to explore and look around. They also have a nursery if you want to get some of the beautiful plants found in the gardens. I would love to come back to try the café.

Since featured on BBC1 Gardener's World few years back I wanted to see this garden. As it is over 2h drive away I needed a special occasion and decided to visit it on my birthday. Was worries all flowers will be gone but I was quite wrong. Most stunning pink buddlier was full of beautiful butterflies and bumble bees. What a wonderful legacy Beth left behind. Mature trees and wonderful gardens. Ponds, alpines and many of wild strawberries! Must visit cafe and gift shop. Coffee, cakes and sandwiches at very reasonable prices. Plenty chairs and tables for this busy garden centre. Made my day! I loved the plants divided into shady areas and dry spaces. Very well organised. Plenty members staff to help out. Nice to see gardeners at work.

Weather made it muddy as walking on grass areas. Best go on drier days. Also more flowers would be out. Nice big place. But plants. Toilets. Cafe

Absolutely stunning gardens! Like something out of a Jane Austen novel. Well worth a trip. Beautifully peaceful. The café is really good aswell. They cater for vegetarians, vegan and gluten free. Food was tasty with a wide selection, healthy options available, I had a lovely beetroot/feta salad! Carrot cake was fab. Clean toilets, and café was neat and tidy. The children had a wonderful time looking at all the flowers and wildlife. Highly recommend. Will return ❤️

My first visit to the Gardens today, absolutely beautiful, love that every plant was labelled. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff when buying plants. So many bees and butterflies which was lovely to see

Visited the gardens on a warm and sunny day which made it idyllic . The gardens are well tended but not too formal with different terrains that are well identified. Plenty of places to sit on a bench and soak up the atmosphere. The tearoom was selling pre-packed food items that were fresh ,tasty and sensibly priced.Well worth a visit. The staff were all friendly and helpful especially those tending the gardens who were happy to chat and advise.
