Nipped into the pub for a drink and recky as we've stayed local on many occasions and never visited. The pub was friendly clean and quiet following the bank holiday weekend.

Lovely outside space for some beer and excellent food. Although my order was supposed to be fish and chips, the fish cakes that arrived were scrumptious! Dog friendly with water and biscuits provided.

Pleasant place to eat. Food was nice. Could have had a bit more variation on the menu but did cater for vegans and gluten-free.But I did feel that lack of uniform or at least an apron. Would have come across a bit more professional.But would I go back to eat? Yes I would

We recently went to the Black Boy for a Sunday Roast for my Birthday. It's the first time we've been in over 2 years. There was so much food for the mains that we couldn't believe it, & I didn't know if we'd even be able to get through it all. But we did, & it was very tasty. For desert Mum & I had Sticky Toffee Pudding with Custard, which was absolutely delicious. It's one of the best deserts I've ever had, it just melted in the mouth. Dad had Apple & Blackberry Crumble, with custard which was also scrumptious. The staff were all absolutely lovely & very friendly. We didn't have to too long for our food either, it was an excellent service. I'm sure that we will be back again in the near future, as it's a beautiful, homely Pub. In a lovely location. I would highly recommend 😊

Went to the black boy pub for a 40th wedding annerversary of mum and dads. What a lovely meal I had the meat was proper top beef and it must be the best ever burger I have ever had, i have bee. To many pubs and had meals and this is the best I've had. Would recommend to anyone. Also reasonable for cost of food the only thing I can say is the drinks are a little pricey. Very clean and nice inside and also very quick service.
