Most of the usual Wetherspoon offer, except they don't serve draft real cider and they had run out of chilli.

·

Comfortable rooms. Comfortable beds. Tea making facilities fully stocked. Staff & managers friendly and helpful.

Awful breakfast, forgot my egg also… overall experience shocking. Would not recommend stay away at all costs!

Came as a breakfast guest and my only complaint that as a new guest I didn't realise where all the drinks ie tea and coffee and their adjuncts were located. Sadly the bar staff were busy with other duties and not in attendance so early in the morning. This wasn't their fault and I totally understand that when a business opens so early (7am) there are many jobs to do.Score would have been 5 but I think 4 is a fairer rank given the fact there was only one member of staff covering front of house at this early hour.

My food was ok i had full grill which should of been hotter than it was, but my partners food she had mash potato with hers and the potato wasn't even cooked properly it still had ICE in it, it was sent back by a return of chips, obviously the chef needs properly training or he can't cope under pressure as you do NOT give customers ICE in the potato for dinner, will NOT be returning as a simple thing to cook mash potato wetherspoons can't even get right?? i will be in touch with health/hygiene officers as the tables wasn't cleaned properly still sticky from previous person NOT up to my standards 😑

The staff where to busy on their phones to book us in.He looked up at us then carried on his phone then after quite some time eventually came to see what we wanted. His attitude and customer service was terrible. The hotel itself was very good, just the very poor service from the staff.

Visited today and Siobhan was extremely helpful and polite. Best service I’ve ever experienced in a Wetherspoons. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

Very surprising! A good sized modern room, with air-conditioning - and a window that opens to allow fresh air in! - a comfortable bed, good hanging space, mirrors, tea and coffee making facilities, including bottled spring water, a double-sized shower (no bath), and a heated towel rail. (Just to say, I imagine due to Covid restrictions having changed everything, and for ease of changing bedding between guests, the bed wasn't as dressed as the photos on the web-site: no colour co-ordinated bed throws etc.) The pub/hotel is situated not even a two minute walk from the beach, where there is also free parking along that road. I found all the staff I came across, from checking-in at the bar because there isn't a separate desk, and being served when I ate in the restaurant pub area, all to be really friendly, smiley, light-hearted upbeat and helpful. Should I need to revisit the area, I would stay here again :)

We ate here for the first time today. Food was excellent as was the service. Pub was very clean and tidy, and the whole ambience very pleasing. The decor and layout would put many more expensive establishments to shame.
